Click on the view comments to see what others have done.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Here is how I responded to the 2 questions for Suitability for work.<\/span>\u00a0 <em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">(Short and sweet today!)<\/span> <\/em><\/p>\n<ol start=\"13\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Are employees directly engaged in tower work assessed for physical fitness? If so, how? Are physical fitness requirements and assessments addressed in contracting agreements?<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Not in most cases, many are just asked if they can climb and asked to do a drug test.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">What should be offered is a complete physical because this is a physical job that requires endurance.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"14\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">What physical limitations should employers be aware of when assigning an employee communication tower work? What hazards might be associated with such limitations, and how could those hazards be mitigated?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It\u2019s a physical job requiring strength, sight, hearing, and common <a href=\"http:\/\/wadesarver.com\/tower-worker-logbook\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-238 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wadesarver.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Tower-Worker-Logbook-Cover-Final-300x283.jpg?resize=155%2C147\" alt=\"Tower Worker Logbook Offer\" width=\"155\" height=\"147\" \/><\/a>sense. If an employee is short any one of those qualities then there is danger to that person and the workmates. These are all factors that could affect the worker&#8217;s effectiveness at the site.
