So today is April Fool’s day, All Fools Day, or a stupid pranks day. This is a silly holiday where some people get to make fun of others and others get pissed off.
Well, take it with a grain of salt. We all get pranked at some point. I always forget about this day and someone get me.
To be honest, I don’t mind that people try to be silly, why not have some fun.
I was researching why this holiday came about , April Fools’ Day – Wikipedia, and it’s all because Geoffrey Chaucer wrote a story called “Nun’s Priest’s Tale” in The Canterbury Tales (1392).
Crazy that one story in a book, or series of books, could create an ongoing tradition of fools. Quite the powerful writer if you ask me.
So, on this day it should be a test of your wits and awareness. Be a little silly but also be tolerable of your annoying friends who insist on being silly at your expense. Roll with it.
Make it a test of your patience, a true test of your stoicism.
Enjoy this day, don’t let it upset you. Think of the fun, not the annoying people.
It’s up to you to go home and look back with a silly laugh.
Enjoy!
