Keep helping others when possible.

Unfortunately, many people get so caught up their own lives that they forget to help others. This can be a problem for a lot of reasons.
Find people who appreciate you for being you and all that you do!

Something I am seeing is a lack of support from people.

Unfortunately, many people get so caught up their own lives that they forget to help others. This can be a problem for a lot of reasons.

Let’s count the ways helping can help you.

  1. It makes you feel better, happy in fact.
  2. It helps you connect to others.
  3. I can give you a sense of purpose, especially if you volunteer somewhere.
  4. When you help others, you begin to see things form a different perspective than your own. It may open your mind to new ways of seeing the world.
  5. Hopefully you helping others will inspire them to help more people, a “pay it forward” process.
  6. If you’re lost or looking for something to fill your void, helping others may give you a sense of purpose, making your life mean a little bit more.
  7. When you help a friend, you’re build a tighter bond.
  8. It can build optimism for you and the ones you’re helping.

On the other hand, be careful of these things.

  1. Some people may expect you to do it all the time, not a good thing.
  2. Some people suck the energy out of you with their complaining and/or negative energy and attitude.
  3. Some people just want to take advantage of you.

So it’s up to you to find balance. My advice to you would be to try it then weigh your feeling afterwards. Don’t give up if the firs time goes bad, maybe try to help somewhere else or someone else. Not all volunteering works out, but you don’t want to be a quitter.
